Koka offers original art in a mixed media format that captures the beauty of nature in a variety of forms and styles. Her deep reverence for the natural world has inspired a collection of contemporary and arts and crafts designs that serve to enhance a variety of interior settings. Her process is intentionally meditative rather than intellectual. She allows projects to percolate organically. She uses real leaves in all of her original collages, which she collects herself, acrylic paints, 18k gold ink and handmade and recycled textured papers.

Kosjenka Filipovic was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia where she attended the University of Zagreb studying art history and literature. Since 1987 she has worked as an interior designer, helping to create living spaces for her clients that are attractive, comfortable and in harmony with their surroundings. While studying design, drawing and watercolor, she began to develop her own images that reflect a sense of balance and a deep reverence for nature. Her passion for contributing to a sustainable lifestyle is reflected in her work, inspiring a sense of warmth and balance to any environment.
